Carole Waller is a visual artist who works with colour, light, textiles, glass,
dyes and paint. She makes unique painted clothes which can be found in her gallery just outside the Georgian city
of Bath – and also in specialist galleries and shops in London and the USA. Her clothes are timeless works of art
to wear – for special occasions and every day. She uses either figurative or site specific imagery to make paintings
which become architectural glass installations, clothing, textile hangings, or live projects and collaborations.
She works in schools and on public art commissions.
The studio and gallery can be visited anytime by appointment either to view or commission her work – be
it a wedding outfit, a painted hanging, or a glass sculpture. Carole shares the space with ceramicist Gary Wood. The gallery hosts special exhibitions and both artists run courses, classes, children's parties and one-to-one
tuition in ceramics, textile printing and painting on silk and other fabrics.
